When I joined Vention, its website copy was an unpalatable, poorly written stew that was not optimized for SERP. Over the course of six months, my team and I rewrote hundreds of pages to improve the writing and infuse each one with keywords; from there we wrote hundreds more from scratch, including hybrid and pillar pages.
Topics covered ranged from DevOps to cybersecurity and wellness apps to cloud consulting — plus a robust microsite dedicated to fintech.

In the wake of an ambitious rebrand, Vention needed to make a splash with content that demonstrated the company’s expertise in AI — and provided fodder for social media. In collaboration with ace in-house designers, my team created an interactive report that fused industry-specific data with playful writing.
The report wound up being the linchpin in a series of email campaigns . . . and it was shortlisted by Readymag as a 2023 Website of the Year.
When a blog post on how AI chatbots work consistently ranked high in terms of SEO, I assigned a companion piece that would explain the fundamental steps to building a chatbot. That companion piece turned out so well we repackaged it as a whitepaper that we could use in email campaigns and promote on social.
